Private Family/Homeschool Day Programs
Deep Portage is offering flexible day programming for families or small homeschool groups looking for a fun, educational, and safe outdoor experience!
We have many program options. You can choose up to four of the 1.5 hour class options to build the day experience you are looking for. Class options are shown below. Maximum group size is 15 people with at least 1 adult per 5 children.

We cannot provide meals, but you can pack a picnic lunch or bring snacks. Bring water and be sure to wear long pants and good hiking shoes if your classes take place in the woods. Bring lots of warm layers if you attend in the colder months.

Rate: $10 per participant for each 1.5-hour class

Choose between 1 and 4 classes that your group would like to do. Click links below for class options.
COVID 19 Guidelines:

Separate households must remain at least 6 feet from members of other households

Activities take place entirely outdoors.

Restrooms are available indoors; masks must always be worn when indoors.

Do not attend if you or anyone in your household has been feeling unwell.

9:00 am - 10:30 am: Archery
10:30 am - 12:00 pm: Bog Hike
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Bag lunch
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Orienteering

Total cost: $80

10:00 am - 11:30 am: Canoeing
