Each year Deep Portage puts out a new mug with the year and a critter you might find at Deep Portage.

The 2024 mug features a Water Scorpion, artwork by Sophie Bishop. Water scorpions are large macroinvertebrates that we find in Bass Pond with students during our "Water Canaries" classes.
