Hiking & Skiing Trails
Deep Portage maintains nearly eleven miles of trails for public use. During the winter, we groom many of them for cross-country skiing. The trails vary in difficulty, with more difficult trails featuring frequent steep hills.

Dogs are welcome to come exploring with you, but must remain on their leash near the building. Motorized vehicles are not permitted on Deep Portage trails except for the access trails noted on this map.

Current Ski Trail Conditions:
February 20 Update: Trails received about 3-4 inches of wet heavy snow from this storm. We groomed and set tracks on all trails this morning, still a little bit of debris from all the wind.

Snowshoeing at Deep Portage:
Please stay OFF groomed ski tracks. Anything that is not groomed for ski trails you are welcome to snowshoe! On our map, purple dashed lines represent a few great snowshoe routes. You do not need to stay on any trail for snowshoeing, you can snowshoe on any of the 6,307 acres that does not have a groomed ski track on it. We highly recommended exploring our bogs and other wetlands by snowshoe!
