About the Event
Learn how to read a map, use a compass, and count your paces to complete a orienteering course in the Deep Portage woods. No experience necessary. Best for ages 10 and up. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and bring water.
Programs are free of cost, but free will donations are appreciated.
Reservations are required. Please email publicprograms@deepportage.org or call (218) 682-2325 to register at least one hour before the program begins.
COVID-19 Guidelines:
- Program size will be limited to 15 people.
- Stay at least 6 feet away from other people/family groups.
- Do not attend if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell.
